Foremost/Barber Dual Rotary Model DR-24

It’s hard to imagine a drill rig that can perform in and under almost any drilling conditions. The DR-24 comes close to achieving that objective. By having the ability to advance both traditional drill tooling as a top drive machine and concurrently spin and advance an outer casing, the Barber drill has become the industry standard for solving the most difficult drilling problems. From glacial till to cavernous limestone and open work gravel, this heavy duty, dual rotary drill is capable of penetrating almost any formation to depths in excess of 1,000 feet up to 24 inches in diameter.

Ingersoll-Rand T-4W

The IR T-4W is perhaps the most widely used pneumatic drill in the US. Developed initially for exclusive use in consolidated (bedrock) drilling applications, the T-4W has become the most popular drill rig above the Terminal Moraine for well drilling in both difficult unconsolidated soils as well as in bedrock formations of every consistency. Configured for primary use as an air rotary/percussion drill, this powerful machine can be utilized as a mud rotary (both direct and reverse circulation) top drive drill on deep and large diameter applications up to 1,500 feet in depth. The T-4W is mounted on a rubber tired Crane Carrier truck. Its 600 horsepower deck engine drives both the rigs hydraulic system and a 350 psi x 1050 CFM compressor.

Mobile Model B-61

A mainstay in the environmental drilling industry this heavy duty hydraulic drill rig has the capability of providing high torque, hollow stem auger, mud rotary, drill-drive and rock coring capabilities in a single full sized rig configuration. Mounted on an over the road truck, the B-61 provides the versatility and mobility to accomplish most of our client’s small and mid range diameter, mid-depths and beyond drilling requirements in a wide range of soil conditions.

Mobile Model B-57

A time tested hydraulic drill rig design, the Mobile B-57 has the capability of providing mid range torque, hollow stem auger, mud rotary, drill-drive and rock coring capabilities in a single mid-sized configuration. Mounted on an over the road truck, the B-57 provides the versatility and mobility to accomplish most of our client’s small diameter, shallow to mid-depth drilling requirements in a wide range of soil conditions.

Gus Pech “Brat”

This versatile top drive drill provides a high production alternative drilling configuration when making hole is the primary objective. While soil sampling and traditional hollow stem auger and rotary drilling are achievable, this top drive machine offers a more production oriented drilling alternative particularly as a mud rotary drill for projects with multiple installations and where sampling protocol is less rigorous.

GeoProbe 7730DT

The big brother to the GeoPobe 6610DT, this equally versatile machine is provides for heavy duty DPT and auger capability and is similarly maneuverable enough to access difficult drill sites, yet powerful enough to sample (DPT) to depths in excess of 100 feet below grade. With the addition of an increased torque hydraulic head, the 7730 can also provide hollow stem auger capabilities for shall small diameter sampling and monitoring well installations to depths approaching 100 ft. Mounted on rubber tracks, the 7730 can traverse over most terrain (for both interior and external applications).

GeoProbe 6610DT

This versatile light weight little machine is maneuverable enough to access some of the most difficult drill sites, yet powerful enough to sample (DPT) to depths in excess of 75 feet below grade. With the addition of a low torque hydraulic head, the 6610 can also provide hollow stem auger capabilities for shall small diameter sampling and monitoring well installations. Mounted on rubber tracks, the 6610 can traverse over most terrain (for both interior and external applications) leaving little evidence of its presence.
